About the Presenter - Annie Colangeli: Annie's collaborations with Water grew out of her love and lifetime of living by oceans, lakes, creeks and rivers. In 2001, Annie developed a profound and sacred connection with a Cove on Martha's Vineyard. During a very challenging time personally, a daily practice of walking the shore brought in waves of Peace and Love, coming directly from this Body of water. Soon, she found herself singing to the Ocean and a friendship grew, a sense of reciprocity and remembering ancient ways of being.  She began exploring the effects of Gratitude, Joy and Intention as a healing force, along with sound and vibration and this deeper inner knowing around Water. Something had been awakened and called to her to keep exploring.. During this time, an experience of physical pain being completely released while toning (making sound) and having a singing bowl played behind her heart caused her to learn about cymatics and a connection to Dr Emoto and his work with intention and water was formed. Annie was part of a group in Vermont who hosted Dr Masaru Emoto for a healing ceremony at Lake Champlain. She has been invited to participate in ceremonies for the healing of water with indigenous elders and a water blessing chant she created was carried out to the West Coast to become part of the Grandmothers Gatherings. Annie has facilitated and created unique ceremonies internationally, with water and people of all ages.

Annie will be available for private sessions/consultations during the week she is here - from October 4th through October 10th.  Please call (530) 513-4590 to schedule.

It is important to recognize that relative safety in our modern environment is not universally accessible due to legacies of power and oppression. Histories of marginalization and colonization, systemic oppression such as racism, classism, ableism, and queer/trans phobia, and the continued legacies of patriarchy create conditions whereby our social and physiological survival capacities are misused to maintain oppression. We work to recognize that oppression is trauma. We practice in service of healing trauma on individual and collective levels so that we may all be free, and work toward responsibly stewarding right relationship to our planet, our times, and one another.
