OFFERINGS FOR ALL - Fee/Payment Summary

Equinimity is a non-profit 501c3 and as such, we have designed a model of support & sustainability with our fee structure that is unique in its flexibility and central to our vision.

Here’s how it works:

1)  Choose your method of participation. We offer two different ways to pay for programs:

  • Pay-As-You-Go Participant — just as it sounds, you pay one class at a time signing up for classes here and there as your schedule permits.

  • Recurring Payment Participant — sign up as a Recurring Payment Participant at a Sustainer or Supporter level (scroll down below for more details) to enjoy months of fun and meaningful activities. This will also help Equinimity maintain some predictability for monthly income supporting overhead, feeding the herd, etc.

2)   Choose your level of participation.  We provide three suggested rates (Community, Sustainer & Supporter) for most of our offerings with the exception of our free and customized programs.

  • Community Rate
Groceries, bills, and other essential expenses can sometimes make it hard to invest in things that nourish us spiritually, physically, and emotionally. We don’t want these things to keep anyone from taking part in our programs. The Community Rate is our adjusted rate - it’s designed to make sure that our programs are affordable to everyone, no matter what their circumstances may be.  Please note that for participants in this rate category, anything from $0 up to the designated community rate is welcome.

  • Sustainer Rate
As the name implies, this is our midpoint rate that sustains our work as well as being the actual, determined value of the program being offered.

  • Supporter Rate
This rate includes the “Sustainer Rate” and a little bit more to help Equinimity cover others. It’s a beautiful way to support the larger community we are all a part of. Anything beyond the “Sustainer Rate” is tax deductible. For example, if the “Sustainer Rate” is $50, and the “Supporter Rate” is $75, then $25 is tax-deductible. Anything above the Supporter rate is not expected but certainly appreciated as well.

By having these three rates, we can ensure that our programs are as accessible as possible to as many members of our community as possible.

NOTE: Beginning in October 2022, Equinimity has discontinued its refund policy to help keep class fees as low as possible.

It is important to recognize that relative safety in our modern environment is not universally accessible due to legacies of power and oppression. Histories of marginalization and colonization, systemic oppression such as racism, classism, ableism, and queer/trans phobia, and the continued legacies of patriarchy create conditions whereby our social and physiological survival capacities are misused to maintain oppression. We work to recognize that oppression is trauma. We practice in service of healing trauma on individual and collective levels so that we may all be free, and work toward responsibly stewarding right relationship to our planet, our times, and one another.
