Somatic Experiencing Clinical Skills Group

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR OUR ONLINE CLASS:

This class will be held virtually!

Facilitated by Barbara Collier, this group offers SE-focused support to build your clinical skills, hone your capacity to read nervous systems, and join a growing community of local Somatic Experiencing Practitioners. You don’t have to feel alone in private practice or in your workplace as the only SEP.

This consult group is open to any SEP or SE student currently working with clients - all modalities welcome; psychotherapy, body work, movement, fitness, coach, alternative medicine, allopathic medicine, artist, etc.

The cost is 35$, but the scale is sliding (pay what you can) and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
To pay, please
donate here and make sure you note which class you are signing up for in the notes.

It is important to recognize that relative safety in our modern environment is not universally accessible due to legacies of power and oppression. Histories of marginalization and colonization, systemic oppression such as racism, classism, ableism, and queer/trans phobia, and the continued legacies of patriarchy create conditions whereby our social and physiological survival capacities are misused to maintain oppression. We work to recognize that oppression is trauma. We practice in service of healing trauma on individual and collective levels so that we may all be free, and work toward responsibly stewarding right relationship to our planet, our times, and one another.
