    About My Practice

Based in Arizona, Sarah has been in the field of mental health counseling since 2012. Sarah specializes in working through trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in counseling and concentration in trauma, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Peace, Conflict, and Global Studies. Sarah began her career as a therapist working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and has since spent over a decade working in the humanitarian field with refugees and immigrants, including survivors of torture.

As a counselor, Sarah’s approach incorporates cultural humility and being trauma-informed, while always acknowledging the ways the world and society mold us as well as shape our choices and options. Her goal is to help clients connect to their inner spark to find next steps that will bring more joy, ease, and fulfillment to their lives.

Sarah is paneled with most major insurances and accepts Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and United among others.
